Becky - it's obvious you don't live in two places :>) :>) I move between FL and NC every 6 months and have to take my goodies with me. I don't think you'd ever be able to do that but boy do you have fun in that room. Wanda

What?? You mean this isn't clean and organized?? Wow, I thought this was how it was supposed to look. If this is bad, mine must need to be sectioned off with yellow police tape!

Boy, can I relate. I have had my own room for three years and I have spent more time and money trying to get it organized and yet it always looks like this. Do you have days when you just have to pick up and straighten out before your brain can be creative ?? !!

I love it! Looks like my room except I hide all my junk under tables. I put plastic tablecloths that I get at my local craft store. More often, my husband and kids find me under the table organizing! Gets kinda hot under there! Anyway, it hides the junk underneath and you can be as messy as you want. My kids leave it alone also!

How awesome! This is what my room often looks like... In fact, more often than not! Reality does bite... now if we could find these night time elves that come in and clean it all up for us so we can start creating instead of uncovering a spot to play.

Too stinkin' funny!! I have a big old stamping room, 14' x 21' and mine still looks like this! The only time it gets cleaned is when I have a stamp camp. Which is what I am supposed to be prepping for right now... I feel sooooo much better! :teeth:

I love it Becky! It's kind of funny! I just went through my "reality bites" room this morning. I had to do some major putting away and finding spots for stuff! It looks like you thrive in this room! I'd love to visit!

I knew you guys would relate to this! :-) It seems to be a hobby-related hazard! Some have asked where I stamp...in that "table" next to the window. Right now it's just piled with project leftovers -- paper, scraps, pads -- from swaps I've been cranking out b/c I was an idiot and signed up for too many with deadlines too close together!! The worksurface is really a shelf from Menard's that's 8' long, and it's sitting on top of those cubbies that you can buy at Target for $8 a pop. And I HAD to clean it yesterday b/c my aunt was here from Oregon, and she hasn't ever seen my house...
And yes, I do have to clean it sometimes just because it's too distracting for me to try and work in a mess! LOL

Becky, thanks for showing off your stamping space. I've been trying to clean mine up for a couple years and my oldest daughter keeps bringing in more stuff. My room is a tiny bedroom converted and now that I've seen your pics I won't feel so bad about snapping some of my room and posting too. I just tell anyone that makes a comment.....IF I were Clean, I wouldn't be Creative!
