Technically, I have been stamping since 1997, and two of these stamps are among the FIRST I ever owned. I have never stamped as much as I have recently, since discovering SCS.... thank you SCS!!!
This challenge was to take one of your oldest stamps and bring it to the future by combining it with something new and trendy. The Sunflowers and the saying are VERY old. The Sunflower is a PSX stamp, and has a date of 1990 on it! I don't even think that company is around anymore. The saying is an OLD D.O.T.S. stamp.
Now... what could be more "in and trendy" than BACKGROUND stamps, the Itty Bitty Background speckle stamp, Hodgepodge, and RIBBON!! Here it is.... all blended together and I used one of the newer (at least to me) techniques of using Gamsol to blend the Prismacolor pencils.

Great job! The background layer is wonderful with all the texture you added. Joan you have such a gift for adding emblishments. The hardware and ribbon are perfect and I love the addition of twine and the tag.
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
