I made one of these at a workshop a few months back and since then I've made several for gifts. I really like the Stampin' Up spring flowers papers for these. This particular frame I made for my sister's birthday.
Directions:
Lay frame on paper, upside down, then trace around the frame. Cut out the paper.
Using a foam brush, brush on one thin layer of modge podge onto the frame (make sure it's thin to help avoid bubbling).
Lay paper on the frame and smooth it out with your fingers. Brush on another coat of modge podge going along the sides of the frame as well to "seal" the paper to the frame. Let dry.
At this point, I embellish with ribbons, paper punch outs, letters, etc. After that, brush on several layers of modge podge, allowing each layer to dry in between applications.
Note: Picked up frames at the dollar store. Use a frame that has a non-glossy finish.
