Faux layering technique as described used in Ink Illusions article in the SS Jan. 2006.
I started at the top level and sponged vanilla in a square, then used a template I cut out to sponge vintage violet for the top layer. sponged a little cranberry on the vanilla too (it is important to let the ink dry or heat set it before moving on to the next color)
I tore some CS and sponged first the vanilla then the cranberry for the side layers, using the torn CS as the guide. I masked using LOTS of post-its.
Also color spritzed burgundy and eggplant on the outer edges.

I love this card. When I looked at it first and saw it was for the challenge I thought, Nope, you layered paper!!! But then I clicked on it and was amazed!! Thanks for the step-by-step instructions, it makes it much easier to CASE!!! LOL
