OK - I thought I was all done with saran wrap, but I think I may be addicted!! LOL! I was playing with some paper that was already cut, left over from my open house, and thought "I wonder what saran wrap would look like on colored cardstock." So this is the result! I thought it turned out pretty cool.

Thanks so much, everyone, for all the wonderful comments! For those who've asked how, the saran wrap tech is really easy - can be a bit messy, but what the heck, that's what stamping is all about, right?! Here's how I did it:
- cut a piece of saran wrap slightly larger than your cardstock and lay flat (a little challenging to keep it from not sticking to itself, but that's what it's made for, huh?!)
- "color" various areas of your saran with markers - use lots of color, but try not to color over other colors as that will cause a muddy look
- LIGHTLY spritz saran with fine mist of water (too much water and the colors will run together more, but sometimes that's an effect that works well, too)
- gently scrunch (a technical term-LOL!) the saran into a bit of a wad so the colors kind of smoosh (another technical term!) around
- open the saran and lay flat, then lay c/s down on top of saran - peel off and VOILA!
- the paper will be a little damp, so let dry then use as desired
On this card, I did the saran wrap on the mustard c/s to see if I would like it. The cards I had made before (you can see them in my gallery: mamacows's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers had been done on either white or vanilla c/s so the colors popped much more. With the mustard c/s the saran wrap coloring is much more muted.
This is one of those techniques that you just have to play with cause the more you do, the more you get a feel for it. Once you get the hang of it you'll love it. If you have any more questions, give a holler!

This card looks so "fallish", if thats a word. It really is pretty, the colors and what you did with the stamps is very pretty. Thanks for sharing the instructions.
