The challenge is to use a layout and stamps if possible from a card in the catalog but change the colors. This is on page 52 of the 2006-07 catalog. I switched my colors from maroon and blue to rust and mustard. I got the card done and hated it, to blah, so I added the faux stitching on the tag and at the top but I decided it went against the challenge rules and took the keywords out of my description.
The tag edges are sponged. ThatÂ’s real sewing machine stitching for the zigzag. The truck is stamped colored and cut out without wheels, then the wheels and dogs images is stamped on the tag and the truck taped on. I omitted birthday - Keiki Cards is not in need of birthday cards at the present time.

I wondered how you would handle the *minimal* catty approach and see this couldn't escape the *magic sponge* (lol). It was definitely an improvement and the black stitching was a much needed accent! Love your color choices too!

Great card, Roxie!! I know what you mean - I've been compelled to something extra, but I really want to stay true to the challenge!!! My sponges are going through withdrawl!!
