Well.....here goes.....my three entries for the inspiration challenge have evolved into three totally different looking cards...none of them seeming to look anything like the inspiration piece.....all I can tell you is that they all started out with the inspiration piece....blocks, different colors, etc....but their final forms are so changed that I almost didn't post them to the challenge.....but then I remembered that inspiration can take you in many directions and these cards are perfect examples of that.....so if you are wondering....'where was her mind today?'....you now know that is was whirling around in the breeze....sorry
must say I do like the way weathered looks when used in both directions

where the inspiration comes from doesn't really matter...just the end result. and yours is beautiful! i love all aspects of this. the colors, the bg, the embellishments, and the subject matter. i think that pretty much covers it. lol! great job!

Oh, I love this card! Never would have thought to stamp weathered in both directions like that. I love the wave of the ferns as you alternated them and how you did tabs across the top. Thanks for sharing! :)

THIS is my favorite of your three today!!! The "Queen of Ferns" strikes again!!! :) WOW!!! Yes... LOVE that Weathered done this way... AND, on top of the Linene... it's EVEN more awesome!!!! Also like the W/W punch pieces up top like that with the brads!!! Well... I take that back.... I LOVE everything about this "whirling around in the breeze"..... DON'T be sorry!!!
Joanne, I gotta tell ya, I'm lovin all your IC pieces and you are entirely too hard on yourself!! This one is gorgeous! What you produced is YOUR inspiration and that's what it should be, and it looks darned good!!

Yes I too like weathered in both directions...something I'd never have thought to try! I also love the word window punch & brads and their placement - awesome accent! Thanks for playing!
