For today's Color Challenge, CC73 - Soft Greens. I visited my uncle's funeral home recently and hanging in one of the hallways was a series of prints that I couldn't leave alone. The more I looked at them, the more I realized they would make great cards (now how sick is that), so I whipped out the trusty cell phone and took a few pictures! Anyhoo, this card today is inspired by one of those prints! The background of the main image is sponged with Creamy Caramel using a sea sponge, the outer edges where then sponged over with a wedge makeup sponge, and I used the color spritzer to add just a little more Creamy Caramel. Roughed the edges up with my new sanding toy to give it a little distressed look. All stitching is done in Always Artichoke. Oops, almost forgot, the second layer is stamped with Always Artichoke on Sage Shadow and then sea sponged using Always Artichoke.

Not sick at all! I have done the same thing at my dentist!! She has a print that I would love to make a card out of. I just don't have picture ability with my cell phone and I keep forgetting to take my digital! Funny.
This card is BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks

I love how you give more detailed instructions on how you do things. It's very helpful. This is a very nice card, although I do agree that your inspiration is a bit unusual. However, a pretty picture is a pretty picture no matter where it may be found.
