I was trying to stretch myself and go for a mix of colors I wouldn't normally try together. I think this works, but I'm not 100% convinced. It's apricot appeal, really rust, not quite navy, and certainly celery.
I folded the card in the normal way and then made an extra score 1/2" from the folded edge on the front side only of the card. I adhered that 1/2" to the back of the card so it now has a "spine". I embellished the spine with eyelets and ribbon.
The scalloped piece is stamped with close to cocoa ink using the linen background stamp. The scallops are highlighted with beads affixed with crystal effects. The scallops were created using the slit punch inspired by this thread: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=165966
Right hand edge is Basicgrey paper.
Background is the floral background stamped in versamark and then embossed with iridescent ice.
Flowers are stamped in really rust on apricot appeal cardstock. Beads are adhered to centers of flowers with crystal effects. Not quite navy bottom layers of flowers are stamped in versamark and embossed with iridescent ice.
