I included various elements of the movie, as stated: a map, a treasure (including some bling!), and my best friend
I'm really happy with how the picture mat turned out! I fiddled with the cardstock until I managed to separate the two layers. It was worth fiddling because the texture really ressembles that of a map! I used the remaining cardstock to mat my treasure image (I still don't know how I'll fit that part into my protector, but it just looked too cute, all curled up like that, to throw in the waste basket!). The map was stamped on vellum, and I used markers underneath to add some color. The title was created with masks and sponging, sort of like it's written in the sand (like you would draw a SOS in the sand, I guess). The little pirate would probably look better in color, but I ran out of time. I'll try to see what I can do with him later, and try to figure out what to do with the rolled up cardstock at the same time. TFL!
