I attached the separate piece of the platter using a brad so that it swivels to see what's underneath. It looks cute, but I don't think it would last very long, as the paper is getting weaker with each swivel.

OMG this made me laugh SO hard when I saw the OPEN version. I MUST try this, even it it doesn't last long. Let's come up with ideas to make it stronger - laminating or crystal effects, perhaps??
