Wanted to try Beate's tutorial as I haven't done this technique yet and love PearlEx! Had to improvise somewhat since I have no Xyron machine. I did however have some clear plastic, heavy-duty labels from an old job of mine. Worked just as well except the PE smeared a little cuz I had to glue it down on the cardstock. Also.. it's really shimmery in real life.. wish it would have scanned.
Anyway.. this technique made me think France. It's a dream of mine to go to France and stroll down the Champs Elysées, onward to the Arc de Triomphe. Oh the sights! Oh the cuisine! Oh the shopping! Oh.. curse my highschool French teacher for not convincing me to take that 4th year of French... Oh mon Dieu, quelle horreur! (hehe) At least I have my dreams!

Great card! I made 3 pieces with this challenge but haven't had time to put the cards together yet~ my Xyron machine is out of sticky paper so I improvised too! I had some adhesive acetate that worked great.
