The leaves were stamped twice with the green and it gave a nice depth, I donÂ’t like the smooth look. I then clean the stamp off and stamp again with VersaMark using a positioner. The VM acts as a resist to the blue. The leaves have a little blue but the other panel I did without the resist is much different.
The technique is called ‘smacking acetate with a twist’ and mine also has a turn back because I did the regular technique too. After getting the background on with the shelf liner it looked to bare so I misted the acetate without adding more marker ink and laid the card on it. I really like the results.
The top and bottom layer of the oval are done with the Coluzzle. The two center layers are freehand cut with regular and deckle scissors.
Linen was stamped over every color but black.
The gems are a little darker in the scan than real life, they are adhered on with Diamond Glaze.

Oh my gosh... this if fabulous. I love ovals and am SOOOOOO impressed that you freehand cut a couple of those. Love the cutout flowers, too. This is just wonderful.
