I stamped this image the day after we got our puppy. I was so excited and in love with that little guy. Never thought he'd be snapped up so fast. So here it sat on my desk ready to be put on a card, but I didn't want to look at it. I've decided to remember our short time with a smile, and let go of some of the resentment towards the shelter that didn't check him for any ailments. For you, little Rusty.. I'm quite certain you're in doggy heaven, if there exists such a place. I'll miss the years that I thought you'd be laying at my feet and playing with my boys. And you'll always have a special place in my heart, little Rusty dog. :)
(sorry for the sad tale.. but it helps me to move on)
To make the smackin acetate w/ shelf liner, I used my spots since I didn't have markers. The ribbon was part of my mother's day gift that my boys picked out at Big Lots.
