Here I am with SU artist Lori (forgot last name). She drew the Mix & Mingle set which is one of my favorites from the new catty. (I am actually holding my swap made with that set--corny I know). She said she had more than 30 sets in the catalog...some of the ones I can remember off the top of my head are Booglie Eyes 107031, Bitty Boos Too 105355, Flolicking Frogs 105175, and Taking Shape in the New Holiday Mini.

How did we connect? She was one of the hosts at the tour of the corporate office. We asked her what she did and she said she was one of the artists then proceeded to name off some of the sets she has drawn. I of couse went bananas! By total coincidence I sat next to her on the bus back to the convention center and we got to chat even more.

Martha!! It's me...Amy from Scrapjazz! I am a SU! demonstrator now as well...we should do some sort of swap. So lucky you were able to go to convention. I will just have to console myself with not being able to go to convention by going to the Cincinnati Regionals in September. PM me if you want to get some type of swap together or something. I signed up to be in the demo boards, but I haven't been approved yet.

I got to meet her too! And tried to take a picture (haven't seen the pictures yet, only on the little digital camera screen). We were on the first Riverton Tour, and when I went to the washroom my Mom started chatting with her, and she took our picture, and then we found out she was an Illustrator, and which sets she did (which some are my favorites), and she's from Vancouver BC, and well, I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one who was star struck.
