I finally got this layout done. I have been playing with it all week. I thought how appropriate these photos would go with the VSBN theme.
My journaling reads:
My dad received his first Emmy for his hard work and dedication as a RF Technician. At the time my dad was working as a freelance RF (Radio Frequency) Technician. The photo below is from Speed World, his first emmy win. Dad is on the end with the checkered jacket.
Right side of page:
Emmy
1989 - Speed World - Technical Team Remote
1990 - Speed World - Technical Team Remote
1995 - Speed World - R.F. Engineer
1996 - X - Games - Technical Team Remote
2003 - In Studio/Sports Center - Outstanding Technical Team
My Clapper reads:
And the emmy goes to.....
Joseph Eicher 1989
Scene - Receiving Emmy Take 1 of 4 (actually 5)
Camera - Congratulations!
I am happy with the way my layout came out, except I have an ink smudge and don't know what to do with it. (at the end of the EMMY on top beside the Y).

wonderful! perfect pictures for this challenge. so glad you were able to get it scrapped even if it was late. I didn't notice the smudge either. If it really, really bothers you, can you do some DTP or smudges elsewhere in a couple of spots to make it look intentional?? Just a thought. But I love it the way it is!

Awesome page Diana...I bet you are so proud of your Daddy! I vote for a gold star too...no one would ever really notice our mistakes if we would just quit pointing them out...lol
