The technique for this is really simple. I used the Tim Holz applicator - but you can use a block of wood with a strip of Velcro applied - then a piece of thin felt applied to the velcro. You apply small random dots of alcohol inks to the felt - add one drop of metallic to the center of the pad - then stamp all over the top of the tile. It dries quickly. Then add a little bit of Adirondack Alcohol Blending Solution to the same pad and blot all over the top of the tile. The more you add the thinnner the color. Once you have achieved the look you want, use a Metallic Krylon pen along the sides of the tile and the outer edges of the face and felt to the back to finish. Very simple. Supposedly you don't need to seal the alcohol inks as they are permanent - but I am going to seal coat these - just in case.
