Ok maybe this is a stupid question since you Americans seem to have access to so many unique things that we Canadians don't...but.....where do you get pop top cans? Until I read that you had filled them with stamps I thought they were little cans of fruit you had simply re-done labels for..LOL

you are correct they are fruit cans ( peaches actually ) BUT I ate the peaches & cleaned the cans out and re used them for my party ..I used a can opener that cuts the edges and does'nt cut like your typical can opener ( I got mine cutter at bed bath and beyond ) anyway I cut the bottom and washed and dried them out and re covered them and put new stampin goodies inside
I bought my little pop can peaches at the local grocrey store ina 4 pack I think Campbells soup has pop top lids now too

This is a FANTASTIC idea! I love your inovative creativity! Thanks for the tips. I didn't know that the can opener ( I have the one from Pampered Chef) could open the bottom of the fruit cans. THANKS A BUNCH!

Thanks for clarifying that these are "actual" fruit cans...LOL...kind of feel silly now for thinking otherwise.......but what a sensational idea!!! I am going to add this to my "must make next" list....
Boy that list is getting longer and longer because of this site...LOL

My turn to ask a stupid question. How do you seal the bottom back on? I'd be afraid of it popping off while they are opening the can.

Thanks so much! I can't wait to try it. I'm having a Pirate Hostess Appreciation this year, too.
