This is a card I made for a 60th Wedding Anniversary. The card has a diamond for each of their childen and a pearl for each grandchild.
The hearts are faux faux mother of pearl. I didn't have all the stuff to do it using the technique in the resources so I used the pearl in every oyster technique from VSN. First I colored glossy cardstock with all the colors you see in mother of pearl. Then I stamped the hearts with clear embossing powder then I used the white perfect pearls over the top. It really does look a lot like mother of pearl in real life.
I used distress embossing powder in Antique Linen by Jim Holtz to make the sand.
My digital camera is on the blink so I only have a picture from my scanner.
