I created a card last night that meets the criteria of the challenge. While waiting for the Nuvo drops to dry on the card I made for today's challenge, I thought I would upload it.
I used a really cool butterfly die cut on holographic paper and layered it over some craft consortium paper. Then, I carefully fussy cut the excess paper. Initially, I decided to use a metallic paper as the background, but I found that the purple plaid paper complemented the holographic aspect of the paper more. Finally, I added some Nuvo drops of the same color for texture.
I'll have my second challenge card uploaded sometime today once the drops dry. Nuvo drops are SO slow! lol
Thanks for looking!

Lovely butterflies, Brian. How great it worked for today's challenge, and I love how you took the picture in the grass so it looks like they are in their habitat. I need to avoid Nuvo drops as I have NO patience and would mess them up every time. Happy Friday - hugz

I love your pretty butterflies and the bg paper makes them really fly off, I agree with Nancy it's always fun to see how you showcase your cards, in the grass works so well for the butterflies!!

Butterflies out of skulls???? Very different.

Beautiful card! Your holographic butterflies are so pretty, and I love the addition of the Nuvo drops. I didn't notice this until Precious Kitty mentioned it, but the die cut areas on the butterflies do kind of look like skulls. Very cool!

Wonderful purples on your lovely plaid background - and I bet the holographic butterflies really shimmer IRL - so hard to catch the real beauty of it in a photo!
