Everything I've used is in the picture, I started by sketching my flower directly with water color pencils, then added color and blended, while the painting was still wet I took the black pencil to outline a bit and I used the flower to make color around the flower just adding water around the flower and the black line for the framing, I had fun using my pencils

I love that you sketched this and the color flow you got from the pencils on the petals and leaves here so much Anita. Yep, that was my thought as well the pencils may travel well for portable art

Anita, you did beautifully using the watercolor pencils. The flower/leaves shading is so well done. It seems this would take more time than with tube colors, Brava!
