Jean's challenge was to use the watercolor with salt technique. I have to be honest - I've always done this technique with blue, resulting in an ocean or beach card. This time I decided to challenge myself to use other colors. The result still reminded me of a beach scene with sand in the front, blue-green water with a little froth from the salt, and a sunset sky.

This is really beautiful. I love using salt with watercolor as it gives wonderful texture.

Thanks for playing!!!!!! I think it looks lovely and soft but I do agree that sometimes deeper colors work best. But on that note, I tried it with darker colors and didn't like the results.
