This is posted for the April Creative Card Chick Challenge from Roxie. Roxie sent each in the group the Jillibean Soup hot air balloon stamp. Here is part of her note...."On sunny days the hot air balloons start appearing in the sky above our house. Make a card that wil bring a smile to someone's face."
I'm going to make this into a Mother's Day card for my MIL. On the inside is one of the sentiments from the set...."Sending smiles across the Miles." I also included a few clouds.
Details on the card....I used the Basic Border die that looks like a cloud. I used one of my brushes to brush the edge with Night of Navy ink. I used the same color for my clouds (after tapping off and only getting the edges of the stamp). I put the bottom cloud on the white paper...came back with the basket part of the stamp in the Rich Cocoa. I then cut out the balloon part with scissors...popped that up with dots.
Thanks for a great challenge, Roxi!! Thanks for stopping by to look!
