Unfortunately I needed a sympathy card this week and decided to use our butterfly theme for the card. I like to keep my sympathy cards clean and simple, so I did an all white background with the exception of the small purplish border. I dry embossed the white background for more interest. I thought the embossing folder I used looked like butterfly wings and went well with the butterflies. The two butterflies are 3D stickers. I have a lifestyle blog and occasionally I share my cards there. Since many of my readers aren't crafters and do not have a huge supply of stamps and such, I often encourage them to use other items, like stickers, to make a card. Stickers have a come a long way in the past twenty years!

Perfect EF for this. These stickers are beautiful. A great sympathy card, Amy.

A beautiful way to send your message of care and support. I see the "butterfly wings" in that ef. I've always loved that design but now I will look at it in a different light. Beautiful card. I am sorry you needed a sympathy card, though. Hugs.

Your sympathy card is very elegant and was probably much appreciated by the recipient. Love the embossing in the background - it does look like butterfly wings!
