Congratulations to Beth for being selected as this week's Featured Stamper in the SCS community. It's a great honor for someone to be recognized in this way, and we all get to enjoy checking out their gallery. This week, it's 'sophmad' aka Beth, who has a fantastic gallery.
I CASE'd Moose Birthday by sophmad at Splitcoaststampers for my project. I almost resisted copying this card because it seemed like an obvious choice, but I couldn't resist creating the scene once I found the background and die cuts in my stash.
Although this card is simple to make, I die cut the moose six times in different shades and then cut and glued them together to achieve the multicolor scene with the moose. For the final background layer, I used a darker, more natural green color. I also traced over the detail lines on the moose with a fineliner to help bring out the detail. The stunning backdrop is from Scrapbook Customs. Each time I use one of these discontinued papers, I feel a twinge of sadness.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card.

Very cool bg paper - I can see why you are sad to use it, but I KNOW you could recreate something like it! Very cool images and layers. What a fabulous case and card, Brian. Hugz

I always enjoy seeing what you unearth for these Challenges! This combination of elements is superb and a bit humorous - what are they looking towards?
