I keep telling my kids that spring is springing. They are sick of hearing it. But I get so excited when the flowers start blooming! The forsythia bushes and the daffodils are at peak perfection here in Massachusetts. I felt like finally finishing up this card that I had started a little while ago. An adorable spring image that I watercolored with Tombow markers. It's such a big picture that I had to just do a little border die cut and let a fun print of a store bought card base peek out from underneath. Thanks to Polly for an easy challenge that helped me finish off this card with a handful of sequins.

So cute and they are all so happy spring has arrived. I like that striped card base. My daffs bloomed in February but it has rained all spring. Couldn't even see the eclipse for clouds. ugh
Enjoy the blooms in your area.

How light-hearted and cheerful, such a sweet scene. The daffs are over here and tulips are starting to appear in their place, but still plenty of forsythia. I like seeing all the trees greening up, I can almost see a change from day to day on the way to work, and on the (rare ) sunny warm days I can even Spring in the air. Enjoy your Spring!
Loving that printed card base.

What an absolutely sweet image. I too am waiting for spring to spring, or to stay sprung, anyway, as we've had days in the 70s followed by days in the 40s. Half my daffodils froze before the buds could open.
Great card! I love that sweet image, and you did a wonderful job coloring it. The sequins suggest the sparkle of sunshine, which makes them the perfect finishing touch.
