This card is for today's sketch challenge and alphabet challenge letter Q. We are focused on locations this round and my location is on the Queen Elizabeth II ship.
My ship looks similar to the QEII though it has more smokestacks. Construction on the QEII began in 1965 being built for the Cunard line and the ship was launched in 1967 by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Cunard operated the QEII as both a transatlantic liner as well as a cruise ship until 2008 when it was officially retired.
For my card, I die cut a circle and a couple of circle rings (using two circle framelits that were a couple of sizes apart). I added the bits of Poppy Parade and the baker's twine to the circle rings to resemble lifesavers. The larger circle I stamped with my ship image and colored with Copic markers (I used the wrong black ink for Copics but think I snuck it by.)
I used some water dp for my background and added a thin strip of gold mirror down the side, then added the "lifesavers" and my ship image is popped up with foam tape. A simple vertical sentiment completes my card.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Perfect design paper used to create your watery ocean background. Just hope that majestic ship is not the Titanic. It really looks like it. Think the Titanic might have had four smoke stacks like that.
