Our Alpha location letter this week is P. The location on my card is the park. I have always loved all our parks around here, but especially the ones in my memory bank from when I was a kid. They may be prettier now, laid out nicer, have nicer facilities, but back in my childhood days they were a lot more fun.
We had one that was called Riverside Park in between our two rivers. It was large and fun, and even had a zoo in the middle of it. Sadly, that little zoo of my childhood is not there anymore. They now have a huge one in another area, but miss that one. When I found this image, I originally thought of the water fountains they had throughout the park. Well this is one for the birds, I guess. Thanks for reading my ramblings, if you did.
Oh, this is the April Sheetload of Cards sketch from Crafty Al.
Thanks for looking.

I so agree about parks from our childhood. The one in Menomonee Falls still exists, at one point it only had a ball field, tennis courts, a band shell and the WWII monument. The band shell and monument will exist, fortunately, but the rest is all fancy with more seating, a place for a farmer's market, a larger stage, a splash pad, and more stuff. People love it, I find it overwhelming. Lovely image, Sharon, for your cards.

I love your "sheetload" of cards, Sharon! Great memories for you and for me, too. We had several gorgeous parks in Wisconsin and one had a zoo in the middle, too. It has been updated and improved, so it is still there. Thanks for the memories! Beautiful card set!
