It is hard to believe but this is our 200th watercolor challenge (WCW). It has been a learning experience and I think we have all learned a lot. I know there is a lot more I want to learn as we continue the challenges. What fun it has been!!!!
This week we are letting you choose a tutorial from the previous challenges that you would like to watercolor again. I chose WCW150 which was given to us by Linda (Holstein). I love coneflowers and I didn't get to paint this one because it was when I had an accident and had shoulder replacement. The tutorial was Loose Coneflowers and the artist was Paintinghyun. I added tall grasses to my painting which the artist didn't have and kind went my own way after watching the wonderful tutorial.
This is the tutorial I chose to use for the 200th challenge:
Hope you will have fun with this challenge. I am looking forward to seeing which challenge you chose and your painting.

Wow! This jumps off the gallery—fantastic colors! I like the way you painted your petals downward with the cone heads reaching for the sun, just as in reality! I am so glad that you are on the team. You inspire me and encourage me with your kindness and talent!

Great job and thanks to all of you for keeping this challenge going and giving us all the chance to become a little better at our water color skills.

Brenda, yu made a good choice. This is so beautiful and colorful. I like the burst of yellow behind the blossoms. I have been looking at all the challenges and it's so hard to pick one!
