Background was made using Gansai Tambi water colour paints. I then stamped the Lavinia large owl and embossed it. I used this image as a base for putting the branch on the bottom and adding the foliage around the edges. Embossed some of the images in white. Stamped the Owl on Bristol card and coloured with Derwent Inktense water colour pencils. Fussy cut and layered on top of the background panel. Added a bit of sparkle with gel glitter pens. I used some pastel pencils around the owl to give it a "glow" but think I could have gone a bit bolder with the pencils. This is the first time I have used them so I will be braver next time. Finished off by adding some embossed stars and adding the dots with Posca Pens.
Hope you enjoy.

Oh wow Helen this is amazing and so reminds me of something that Suzy would create too. You and her just have the knack for colouring and creating a magical BG. I love it all. Absolutely stunning work. Happy day over East

Wowzer! I LOVE this card. The BG is beautiful and the owl is just fantastic-your coloring-it feels dimensional and glowy. (I even made up a word lol)
Faved!
