For this week's Ways to Use It challenge, Lisa has challenged us to use stitching or faux stitching. I went all out on the faux part, choosing two patterned papers and a digi image with faux stitching. Then, I added my own faux stitching around the main image by piercing and then connecting the dots with a pen. Yes, it looks very wonky, and truth is my stitching with a machine is generally just as wonky because I sew so rarely these days. I added a few acrylic dots and buttons as embellishments.

Ah, but even though I sew straight for dress-making I will deliberately go wonky for cards - I think it looks better. Your patchwork dog is totally delightful and has put a big smile on my face.
Great card! I love the patchwork puppy and you did a great job coloring him. So bright and cheerful! Also, buttons make the perfect embellishments for a card featuring stitching.
