I had a bunch of this stuff on my desk and it came together quickly. I had been playing around with upcycling some old cards, adding from my huge collection of handmade papers. So I layered some of papers in 'stripes' on a stenciled background done with two sprays. The patterned piece came from an old notecard. I had a set of the bird diecuts from Joggles, sprayed him after heat embossing the Autumn Leaves swirl. Put some twine underneath him. I added a gem for his eye and few others scattered. I doodled some poke root toward the bottom. Everything started from that patterned strip from the notecard. I guess the only thing I didn't do was the technique. Thanks, Gracie, for the challenge!

So much yummy texture and I like what you did with your bird and stamping the sentiment on him. Fabulous card. Happy day
