A big congrats to Wanda, the newest Featured Stamper (FS891)! She has a really super gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout, sponged half rectangle & trees to the side. I used different images, dies, colors & made mine summer or spring break themed rather than Christmas. I also added a narrow black layer behind the main panel.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ more pics, Copic colors & info: The Write Stuff

Julie, you chose the same card as Nancy, and I love seeing how an inspiration piece can lead in totally different directions and yet you can still pick out the elements that inspired. I love the wonderful warmth and fun you created with this beachy image and sentiment. That tree is great and your gal is beautifully coloured and tanned. Your link to your inspiration piece is messed up here, but not on your blog.
