My daughter and I saw this technique on IG and we tried it one afternoon. We dipped a plastic cup into the ink pad and pressed it onto water color paper. You wet the brush and draw the color into the center of the bulb. It was so simple and turned out so translucent we were happy with our results. I mounted it on some tree patterned paper, added a die cut branch and a bow to cover up a mistake. I know none of you have ever had to do that.

Wonderful technique to make your ornaments and love the background paper. The bow and branch look so pretty. Had a laugh over you saying you bet we have never had to cover a mistake...ha
