Maggie gave us a special challenge this month for the Creative Card Chicks. We lost one of our members last year...my sister, Debby (littledeb). Debby loved anything artsy....her cards, painting and drawing (various mediums...she was a well known artist in the area), sewing and taxidermy (her business). She also hunted and did photography. She worked in the 4H office in her county in south Texas. One of her areas was working with the kids. This included food shows and the stock shows for their county. Maggie gave us this challenge....."One in particular caught my eye that I hope will be a fun challenge and also remember our friend (and family) Debby. Here in H Town the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo starts on February 27. I know that Debby was into animals and would go to livestock shows and rodeos. So the challenge is to make a Thinking of You card using any kind of animal image (NOT one with wings) that you want to use. It would be great if it were some kind of livestock animal, but that doesn't have to be the case."
Debby had goats at their house. My niece had shown goats when she was in FFA while in high school. Deb had a goat that was constantly getting her horns through the fence...then getting stuck!! If she was home, she would push this goat through the fence again. But, it was an issue when she was working at the 4H office in town. She decided to get a pink pool noodle, pink duck tape and go to work! She covered the horns with the pink pool noodle...then wrapped it with the pink duck tape. It actually worked!! It kept the goat from getting stuck in the fence again. After the goat was wrapped, she pranced around in the pen! Deb said it was a hoot to watch this goat. She later had to do it to two other goats....one was lavender and the other was lime green!!! They were styling goats for sure!!!

Super sweet tribute to your sister (so sorry for your loss). This card is adorable - great coloring!
