My J card this week is in honor of James Avery Craftsman, Inc. ( jewelry crafting artistry). James Avery started his business in 1954 in a 2 car garage in Kerrville, Tx. making Christian-themed designs. James Avery died in 2018 at the age of 96, but his legacy continues. This family will be celebrating 70 years, honoring the craftsmanship of this incredible designer. You won't want to miss the celebration that is planned.
My love for his artistry in silver begin back in the 1960's and it is the only fine jewelry that I own. I adore each piece that I have in my collection. My wedding band is even from James Avery craftsmen.
J is for jewelry store.

BEAUTIFUL Easter card, Liz. The embossed bold cross is so dramatic and your bg is perfect! Love the silver "chain" in homage to James Avery. (I've been a fan of his for years....ever since friends in Kerrville introduced me to his work)

I will have to check out James Avery jewellery. Never heard of him here. The background is so pretty and a lovely way to display the cross and "chain".

This is so pretty, Liz. That embossed chain is amazing - I thought it was a die cut until I read your description. The embossed cross is beautiful as well. I am another who had never heard of James Avery, I think a google search is in order.
