This is my card for CC987. Diane is our hostess and she chose poppy parade, lost lagoon and copper clay for her color trio. Dessert option this week is any 4th color. I chose yellow.
I needed a Valentine card for my hubby so I decided to try these colors for a non-traditional Valentine card.
He really likes fries so this card is perfect for him. The fries die is from CottageCutz. I stamped a face, arms and feet with a stamp from MFT. It's the same set as the sentiment.
For the fries I used poppy parade for the container and cut the fries in yellow cardstock and then shaded it with wild honey distress ink.
Cut the "fries" phrase in copper clay cardstock. That's my sample for this week. Hope you have some time to play along with us.

Mary, this card would be adorable even without the faces and arms and legs; but with them, it's so funny and endearing! I love the pun in the greeting, too! Very clever, and I know DH will love it, too!

Adorable! Love the fun pun. Gave me a smile. This card sounds perfect for your DH. The dancing fries are so cute. Love the hearts, too. The challenge colors worked great for your design.

I have a grin on my face viewing this brilliant valentine for your husband! Giving the containers arms, legs and faces is a touch of genius : ) And the greeting is so fun. Straight into my faves!
