My card started off for another challenge but didn't quite work out as it should.
I used an EF on silver card and then was suppose to add Gesso, I realised I didn't have any so made some, it dried mat so when I added the colours it didn't look translucent! I then decided to sand the colours to show the silver through, then added some silver ink, over the top.
Eventually I gave up on that challenge but realised I could use the BG for the MMJ challenge.
The stamped image is a topper free from a magazine, cheating sorry, I added the topper after cutting a rectangle from my BG and then made a frame from it, I also added a silver frame before adding glitter glue and gems to brighten it all up.

Love the BG you created Jan and it sounds as though you had fun creating it and it’s got lots of layers. I bet it is yummy IRL. Lovely birthday card and you get some great freebies. I love how you highlighted the image with the silver frame.
Good to see you back in the MMJ gallery. Thanks for playing in my challenge.
