Phew. I survived another WCW. And this was a tough one for me! It was much more detailed than I prefer. I like the simple ones where you slap paint around and it starts to resemble something. I've also been preferring to stamp something and watercolor lately because I don't have much time in my craft room these days. For this one I tried to follow the directions just about exactly with pretty much the same supplies. I find that I'm embracing cold press paper lately. My resulting painting looks a bit heavy handed to me, and it's not my favorite ever, but I do like it a lot and I'm very proud of it. I didn't even have to add a cute critter to distract from my painting skills. I like this so much that I decided to make this a Christmas card so I could keep it longer. LOL.

How about just framing it and keep it forever? When I saw your card and name I thought you better not say something is wrong with this card and you just couldn't make it right. It is gorgeous and I love the clear colors. Great sketching going on here, too, or maybe you just painted it without a sketch. Oh, and really good tree reflections, also.

Wow Jennifer! I thought this was part of the challenge to make a card with a pretty napkin because it looks so pro! I love all the variation of color. Frame-worthy!
