This page is for the Alpha challenge C. I chose Canada as my location.
I am also putting this in the WTUI Challenge and to use a napkin (serviette).
We have visited Canada twice. Initially in 2009 where we went to the West Coast and saw a mama bear and her 2 cubs. Our second visit was on the East Coast up to Quebec and unbeknown to me, Sharon (smadson) was on the same cruise which left from Quebec to Houston. I had not joined SCS at the time and would have loved to have known her then and to see her.
Back to my page. I have a wonderful vintage sticker book which I have had for years. I came across this bear last year and stuck him onto this CS. He has sat in my stash since until I saw this challenge and thought of Canada and bears.
My hubby has just asked me what the significance of the watch is. I used pieces of an Alice in Wonderland serviette I have and this was of the rabbit saying Oh My Ears and Whiskers. It made me smile and for no other reason why I added it, and also because I am always thinking of time and plans and to do lists LOL.
The tree stamps are from an SU stamp I have had for a long time and it is the second stamp I have broken out of this set in recent days. Their stamps really are top class.
I added the stencil and paste for interest and after sponging the BG. Those who know me know I do not like too much clean space LOL.
My final decision was to add the lady dangling from the bear. Again, this is a sticker. I stamped the thread. I just had visions of this bear and the way he was standing of dangling something. He is such a fun bear.
Lots of stickles and nuvo drops added. It is sparkly Irl.
TFL. Happy day

Yes - been there and seen lots of bears too. Sitting having breakfast at a friends place in Thunder Bay (Ontario) when we were joined by a huge black bear who was visiting and checking out the apple tree. He was just outside the window. Wonderful memories of Canada. Your card bought the joy of it all back.

The lady dangling from the bear really caught my eye...and then the saying next to it...very creative! Love all the details and I get it about not liking a lot of clean space...I'm sort of that way , too. Maybe that's why CAS cards are so difficult for me.

I have lived in Canada all my 61 years, travelled to the east, west and in between, and I have never seen a bear, which is quite fine by me, lol! So funny that a couple of you have seen them on your travels! I’ve seen a moose twice! Your collage is so much fun. I love seeing your creative imagination splashed on the page and I can quite identify with not liking too much blank space! More is more has been my standard style, though I have managed to squeeze out a few CAS, and admire those who embrace that style so beautifully.

Woo hoo! Jayne is back! I love your take on the napkin challenge, with the rabbit and watch. That floral bear is the tops! I have not seen a bear like that here in my Canada. But anything can happen when Alice is around! Kudos, Jayne. This is an amazing MM piece.

This collage is so delightful. I love how things hop out from our stashes and the fun things that can be had in the creations they attribute to!!! You are so creative and your art delights the soul of all who get the chance to see it. Happy new Year, my friend.

What a great Jayne creation. That bear is delightful and I wouldn't have known where to start to use him. The trees look great on that DOX background. What a shame you didn't know Sharon at the time of your cruise. I'd hoped to meet her when she was in Dublin but I think it was still just before the days of easy communication when in a foreign country.
I love that bear, Jayne! And wouldn’t have been great to have known each other on that cruise? It was one of our favorites, and if I had gotten to meet you , it would have been my very favorite!
