I love this technique and was so excited when I clicked on one of Sabrina's links for this challenge and saw that Erum had used a more graphic ef. I had only florals and flourishes in my head. I immediately thought how cool it would be to use my numbers EF for my nephew' upcoming 51st birthday. Uh....Well....No....Not exactly..Yeah, you shouldn't do this technique with words or numbers. DUH! But I decided to embrace my mistake and typed a silly sentiment using American Typewriter font. Hopefully, he will enjoy the "fun". Hope you are enjoying this technique too and that your day is filled with fun as well. TFL

I think that's brilliant! I've fine exactly the same thing with mirroring/kissing/ printing with a stencil, and I think it's always worth just making the best of the unintended reversal. You've certainly done that here - and the blue looks great.

You're so clever! I love the blue over the embossing, and you so cleverly worked the backwards numbers into such a clever and funny card! (And a beautiful one!)

What a clever idea! You really saved the day with that humorous sentiment. Your background looks wonderful with blue instead of black. Much more upbeat and informal for a fun birthday card.
