Using a barely inked stamp from NorthWoods Rubber Stamps I found in my winter stamps, I stamped this roly poly snowman in VersaFine ink on NorthWoods Water Color paper and embossed it with detail black . I scribbled color on with some Tombow markers and used a wet water brush to spread the color. The embossed lines help to keep the color from bleeding. I used some die cuts from Catherine Pooler to make a little embellishment at the bottom of the image. His scarf is paper pieced from patterned paper. I like how it looks like layers but the stamp itself created the framed image. I cut the image out around the frame and layered it on top of a dry embossed panel done with Paper Studio embossing folder.
To give a touch of sparkle i used a glue pen and some Tim Holtz sugar glitter on parts of the snow momma. Roll poly snowman! Perfect! As I was looking at this and loving the look on the face, I came to your description of this motherly looking snow person and thought it was perfect. Such a pretty wintery nature scene she’s set in. I love that you used pink in here!
