Today's challenge was a minimalist Landscape. I lightly sketched where I wanted my building to be and then let the scene kind of evolve as I painted. The hardest part for me was to leave the sky just a few quick strokes and resist "filling in" to the edges! I do like the peaceful scene that emerged from my brushes today.

Love it!!! You painted some fabulous trees. Look just like the ones I see in the wooded area behind my back yard. Your building looks great, too. Love the snow on the ground.

Your perspective is outstanding of this wintery scene. Your shadows are wonderful of the trees and snow. We all should be proud of how far we have come since the beginning of this challenge journey 187 weeks ago. Thanks for joining us often and always adding a wonderful painting.
