I often pick up feathers on walks, especially at the beach. I simply cut and fringed the piece of burlap and threaded some gold wire ribbon through it to hold the two feathers. Stamped the sentiment, cut with the SU Messages die and popped up on foam dots. It's a little bulky, so I may send a different card to my Teaparty recipient.

This turned out beautifully, Faith - but I agree - some cards are just meant to be hand delivered. LOTS of texture with the heavy burlap, soft feather and wire ribbon.

Beautiful! Love that sentiment. Fun way to use a feather, Faith. Hugz

I love real feathers but have found out it's illegal to pick up any feather. I doubt any one would go after me for it, other than eagle feathers, but I think about it everytime I pick one up. Yes I do still pick them. I love using real feathers, so pretty.
