Hello painters, this week we are going to paint a minimal scene. It really is a carryover from Brenda's video from last week. Here is the video-
I painted an eight-by-ten picture of the scene. The shed should be shorter. I would like you to take your paints and brushes and paint any scene you want using some of her techniques. Show us what you have learned from the challenges this year. We have enjoyed seeing every one of your paintings this year.
Thanks for playing and have fun.

A fabulous painting for your challenge, Linda. I think this place is hot and dry and you captured it perfectly. Thanks for the fun, easy challenge.

Superb! The dessert scene, with the hot dry climate, is beautifully depicted in this watercolor/shaded gem. Beautiful from the dry sand to the heated sky...

This is a beauty and love the shadow and details that bring this to life. Into my favorites.

As I was reading through the comments, I saw I was not alone in seeing this aa a desert scene - for me it was the fun bits of scrub brush here & there in the forefront of your painting. In our area one can often see isolated homes like this, simply built in the middle of nowhere, but providing necessary shelter for a family scraping by. (Truly minimalist!)
