I have been traveling yet again, not in a situation where I can even watercolor, so here is yesterday's WCW challenge-a simple winter landscape. I enjoyed this video very much; she is a good teacher. I also used yesterday's sketch, which was perfect for me.
I followed her instructions best that I am able, using a little shading pencil and some Micron on top of the branches. Added a little of the white to the branches. My brain is pretty fried so I couldn't decide on a sentiment, simply added a postage stamp to the bottom right. I especially like how she did the moon, removing color with the Mr. Clean pad and the tree line on the left.
Thanks for the challenges and Merry Christmas and happy 2024 to all of you! I'm traveling again starting tomorrow, feeling like a nomad.

I am always amazed how you can continue to create while traveling (motorhome??) as when I fly somewhere there is NO room for craft supplies . . . . You have created a wonderful little winter scene and that frosty white frame is just perfect around it to reinforce the feeling of winter's chill.

Your moon looks fabulous and I love your complete scene. The background brown trees look very wintry and I see you left a little dirt and mud around the front tree where the snow melted. Awesome and beautiful card.

Glad you liked the video. I like your tree line and the color you created. I liked how she removed the color with the eraser. Will be using that technique more. Thanks for adding your terrific card in the gallery.

Wow Jean this is wonderful! I will have to give that WC video a chance! I am always so intimidated by WC. The sparkle mat and the Canadian snowmen stamp add wonderful interest.
And like others - amazed that you are doing this on the road!
