Mary is hosting the color challenge and the fun colors she chose are Real Red, White and Blueberry Bushel. The dessert option is anything goes. I look forward to seeing the gallery filled with cards using these wonderful colors.
I adhered a white plaid die cut to the card front. I die cut a white circle and dry embossed it. On the circle and the plaid dsp layer, I adhered a trio of die cut daisies along with blue die cut twigs. I die cut the stamped and white embossed sentiment and embellished the card with three blue tinsel gems.
In the TeaPot Challenge, Lisa and Elke aka tropical smiles have challenged us to send cards of encouragement to Christine who is battling cancer. Christine enjoys gardening so I thought she might like these daisies.
Thank you Mary and Lisa for hosting these fun challenges.

Oh my gosh, this is fabulous looking Rita. I love your winter daisies against the pop of that pretty plaid. Your background dies reminds me of a gardening trellis. Love the embossed round with that sweet sentiment die. Well done, mf!

I love that you chose those pretty daisies for this color scheme! The pairing is plaids brings up the cheerfulness up a few more notches too so I think this will be an excellent card to lift someone's spirits

Gorgeous! Each layer of die cuts, dp and embossing add so much richness and texture to this card. Those daisies are both fabulous and fun but it's all your work in the background that makes this spectacular. I love the plaids (die cut and dp) and the warm feel it adds. Christine will so enjoy these flowers in her home. Awesome design, Rita. Awesome Card.
