Here is my take on the "Lights" challenge from Thursday. A friend asked me to make some personalized cards for her son's teammates, and she sent me a photo of the kids standing on the football field under the lights. So I designed ten jerseys and personalized them. Then I printed them and cut them out with my ScanNCut. I colored the letters and numbers with SN markers. I figured that was a better shot of matching the color than if I tried to print the right color. Then I cut out ten strips of green cardstock and drew in the lines of the football field using the same method that Dina used in her Center Stage tutorial. Lastly, I grabbed a piece of black cardstock and a circle stencil and did a quick bokeh background to represent the lights. She loved the cards!

I love your take on lights. Being from a small town in Texas growing up, Friday night lights always meant FOOTBALL in the fall. Great card!

Such a clever take on the lights challenge. I like how personalized these are for the recipients. Your description sounds like a lot of steps but the results were so worth it - these are really special!
