This is my card for CC977. Chris is our hostess and she chose berry burst, old olive and crumb cake for the color trio. Dessert option this week is gold.
The dessert option is perfect for the French horn image I used. I cut it in a brushed gold cardstock. My background vellum paper has gold Christmas words and I layered gold mirror cardstock underneath this vellum paper.
I cut the bow and berries in berry burst and the holly leaves in old olive. I scattered a few crumb cake enamel dots to complete this card.
I decided not to add a sentiment to the card front since the background had all the Christmas words.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Chris has chosen some great colors for your Christmas cards. I don't know about you but I am no where near finished with my cards. But that's my project for this week.

This is absolutely gorgeous, Mary! I can't imagine a better background for that beautiful French horn though I confess I might not have thought to even try it myself because I would have predicted it would have been too busy. Not at all - it plays beautiful music.
