I started this card last Sunday for the FS challenge featuring my Teapotter friend Donnajeanne. I chose this fabulous card with the alcohol ink background. In the description, Donnajeanne talked about vellum, and I couldn't tell, but I thought maybe the alcohol inks were done on vellum. So I thought I'd give that a try. I recently bought some fluorescent yellow, orange, and pink alcohol inks and I wanted to try them out. I made a quick alcohol ink background on a piece of vellum and then couldn't figure out what to do with it. Ultimately, I stuck it to a full sheet of sticky tape and put it on a sheet of white cardstock. That was nice because I could trap the alcohol ink on the inside. Fluorescent colors are so 80s, so I had the idea to use my wicked fun cassette tape stamp and that's where I left my card until this morning. This morning I actually stamped the cassette tape onto fluorescent yellow cardstock and cut it with my ScanNCut. Then I expanded the border and cut the that in white. The sentiment was actually on a birthday card that a friend sent me. I liked it so much that I scanned it into my computer and made it into a PNG file that I could use. So for today's CAS challenge I have C for Cassette, A for Alcohol Inks, and S for Sentiment.

The cassette tape is so cool and so are your colors....so fitting. I like that perfect sentiment for this 80's look.
